"Fans of This Mortal Coil, Young Marble Giants, DO NOT miss this one! Cinematic, dramatic.  Spooky, lush, minimal, beautiful.  Stripped down piano, synths, tasteful percussion and female vocals.  Lots of instrumental tracks.  Moments, shades of Cat Power, Faun Fables, Current 93, Danielle Dax here and there...Fantastic."

NEW LIMITED EDITION CD click cover to buy cd now with paypal!
available for $9.98 [ filed in experimental ] @ amoeba sf
first 200 copies include a hand-screen printed poster
a three year span of living, working and touring with artists and engineers throughout the uk and the u.s.
culminates in the 18 tracks captured on this new limited edition cd from the autonymous imprint,
BPR [formerly of entartete kunst recordings].

opting for simplicity and subversiveness over the superfluous and commercially crafted,
RELIVE combines bittersweet analogue melodies with lush electronic dissonance.
best described as "
dark, cinematic lullabies" [mission creek music festival]

this release compiles recording sessions from
an old farm house on the outskirts of riot-torn bradford, england
to an intense collaboration with london-based sound artist
motion [12K + fatcat],
to new york's east harlem with
luscious jackson's alex young [grand royal],
then on to chicago's
engine music studios
courtesy of joey hurt and
colin studybaker [engineer for iron & wine],
and finally returning to san francisco's mission district,
thanks to
filthmilksubarachnoid space and skullcaster's  benevolence.

deletist has spent the last few years working at a large record store, enjoying whiskey
and regularly booking san francisco's most intimate free noise & doom
monthly show - in an empty bedroom
overlooking oh-so-completely gentrified mission street.
it's been called
b l e a k h a u s
it was fun while it lasted...
but then the windows got broken,
the p.a. left because it couldn't suck it's own dick,
and the word started to spread that we were all having fun,
so a bunch of spoiled middle class
rock star brats started to give the noise shows their stamp of approval,
thus, ruining it like the mainstream does.
bleakhaus then began receiving requests for gigs from bands
whose only requirements were "accommodation, catering, and travel expenses."
*pffft!*
it was about this time, the deletist got laid off from amoeba records,
the power started sputtering on&off constantly, eviction was threatened,
and people that deletist thought were her actual friends & colleagues,
suddenly disappeared into the unforgiving ass of time and social acceptance,
never to be seen or heard from again.

so now
she writes, records, releases, produces, and performs sometimes outside of her own home.

currently planning a short european tour in september 2011.
